A day to reflect.
Freedom is not a given.
That’s why we are closed each year on May 5th,
to show our respect to those
who fought for the free world we live in.
There is still much work to be done –
for all those who do not share in this privilege.

Forgetting leads to exile.
Remembrance brings liberation.
